My very first microteaching reflection

okay, today I have just finished my very first microteaching in class. It's a 5-minute teaching. Freely to choose any topic
I paired up with a Chinese girl who has strong Asian spirit and believe in Didactical and Subject Matter expertise rather than Pedagogical one
I know that our teaching will get some feedback from the teacher for not engaging students so well. I knew that it could happen but I let my partner organized activities in the way she wanted, so she can learn that she cannot apply the Asian teaching style to Australian schools after that.
Got upset a little bit abt the feedback when teacher met two of us outside the class and said that she was worried abt these two international students, as we both have strong accent and soft voice, especially abt teaching method, which focused too much on talking.
she recommended that next time we should organize more activities for the students (I guess she means the pedagogical approach) so that we can talk less but the students still can grasp the knowledge
one good point is that among the feedback for our team. There are some good comments on my part which is engaging and they said I use some metaphor that make the knowledge easier to understand
I consider it as a relief. At least I did my part well enough. For my partner, it was good that she would draw something from this microteaching and change her mindset abt teaching method before she goes on placement
